We rented the Tasman Suite for 3 couples. When we opened the door to the suite we were over whelmed with the size and the overall design, comfort of the apartment. It meet all all our requirements, one more toilet would have been perfect. Your staff were exceptional, nothing was to much trouble. We were not flying out until 10.30pm on the sunday,we were offered a room to leave our luggage in and the use of,until we left for the airport. We have raved about Zero since our return and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Hobart. We are from Geelong, came back and thought Geelong has nothing compared to Hobart. You have a wonderful city, congratulations to your city council. Please keep us informed of any specials you have. Thanks again,Marion .l
Very spacious with all rooms being generously sized. The main bathroom was most impressive. The quality of the linen, towels and bedding throughout were of a very high standard. The views from all windows were excellent and the location even better. The availabilty of good car parking was a major feature.
The absence of locks on doors affected privacy - particularly the main bedroom. The kitchen was poorly equipped with utensils and crockery for a luxury apartment. The state of both the oven and griddle was unacceptable. Since there was no room service on Sunday, it was to be expected that there would have been a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning materials available for self use.
We were upgraded to penthouse and were blown away by the design and spaciousness of the lovely apartment not to mention the great view of the dock from the balcony. My 3 year old boy simply loved the spa bath in the master bedroom and my 10 year old daughter rates Zero Davey as THE best accomdation among the 5 we stayed during our Tasmania trip and I could not agree more.
Room layout was great and close to car parking and great location
Excellent location on Hobart waterfront. Very close to good restaurants, city centre and Salamanca. Ease of driving to the hotel (and on-site parking). Clean, roomy, comfortable and modern accommodation. Great value for money.
We changed from a luxury water view studio to a 2 bedroom apartment due to the length of our stay. The 2 bedroom was much larger, outfitted well and very comfortable. The 1 bedroom would suit a couple who are staying a shorter period. The assistance from staff to make our stay enjoyable was outstanding.
The harbourview room was fantastic, very quite & spacious.
Parking space was very tight for a large car but at least it was undercover.
The view of the CBD and the fishing wharf, the amenities in the room, the proximity to the scenic parts of Hobart.
The bedside shelves were inadequate (far too small), only 2 towel/clothes pegs in the bathroom and 1 of these obscured the toilet roll holder, no smallish glasses provided (wines and highball glasses only), but nothing major really
The size of the room
Manager was helpful but front desk staff were very unhelpful about restaurant recommendations, how to get from A to B etc...There was no parking available which I thought was part of the deal
it was close to where we had to be - Master Builder's annual dinner at the Grand Chancellor. It was a fantastic place to stay as a family, where we could provide for our own meals.
We found the bathrooms were a bit unclean - hair in the showers, plugs and tiles unclean looking. Rest of teh apartment was good.
Great location, very well designed and well fitted out. Very modern and cutting edge with well appointed furnishings and appliances. Great outdoor balcony.
Some facilities issues. For example the dishwasher didn't clean (faulty?) and the smoke from the grill went into the extractor and straight back out of the light fixtures.
I liked the location
I faced the main road in into Hobart and the traffic noise beginning early morning was extreme. Probably requires double glazed windows on rooms facing that side of the facility.
Comfort & cleanliness in a modern stylish apartment.
The docks next door were noisy in the early hours.
This hotel was spaceous, had excellent kitchen facilities, had a washing machine/dryer in the room, was close to CBD and we liked to decore. our room also had a courtyard outside it wth seating
